Your First Visit
On your first visit you’ll meet your Chiropractor to discuss your current health situation and to see if you’re a good candidate for Chiropractic care.
If we think we can help, we’ll conduct a thorough examination. This helps us identify the likely cause(s) of your problem. We'll then put together a tailor-made personal treatment and exercise plan, telling you what we found, what we can do to help and how long it may take. You may be advised to follow a course of treatment whereas for others, a couple of visits may be all that is required.
In nearly all cases, treatment will take place as part of your new patient consultation appointment on your first visit. This will be included in the fee for your new patient consultation. In cases where further investigations are necessary or time simply does not allow, treatment may take place at a later date but this is extremely rare.
Very occasionally, Chiropractic care may not be appropriate for your particular problem. In the unlikely event of this happening, you will be referred in writing to an appropriate healthcare practitioner, specialist or GP for further investigation, providing that you are happy for us to do so.
